Freshers' Giveaway Terms & Conditions

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE ENTERING THE GIVEAWAY

  1. The promoter of the DigIn 2017 Fresher’s Giveaway prize draw is Hadham Enterprises Limited (t/a DigIn) of 41 Corsham St, London N1 6DR (“Promoter”).
  2. The DigIn 2017 Fresher’s Giveaway (“Prize Draw”) is open to all UK residents aged 18 years or over, except employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the Prize Draw.
  3. Upon submitting feedback through the website diginbox.com/go on the product samples you received in the DigIn Box (“Feedback”) and providing your name and contact details you will be automatically entered into the Prize Draw.
  4. All entries into the Prize Draw must be submitted via diginbox.com/go and only one entry per person is permitted.
  5. The opening date for entries is 10.00am on 24/08/17. The closing date of the Prize Draw is 11.00am on 30/10/17 ("Closing Date"). Entries received after this time will not be considered.
  6. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for Feedback or Prize Draw entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.
  7. Winners for each available prize will be chosen after the Closing Date by a random draw performed by a computer process on or before 30/10/2017("Draw Date").
  8. The winner will receive one of the following prizes;
    a) £1,000 cash
    b) £100 cash (number to be won: 20)
    c) Holiday to Thailand
    d) NOW TV 6 Month subscription (number to be won: 20)
    e) An Apple Watch (number to be won: 2)
    f) £10 Amazon voucher (number to be won: 100)
    g) £500 Uber gift car
  9. The winner will be notified by email (using details provided at entry) on or before 10/11/17 and must provide a postal address to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond to the Promoter within 14 days of being notified by the Promoter, then the winner's prize will be forfeited and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
  10. The prize will be sent to the winner by post within 30 days of being notified of their win.
  11. The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
  12. The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter's control makes it necessary to do so.
  13. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the Prize Draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
  14. The winner's name and county can be obtained by sending a stamped addressed envelope to Dig-In at 41 Corsham St, London N1 6DR or an email to info@diginbox.com within 15 of days after the date of the closing date of the Prize Draw.
  15. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
  16. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
  17. Winners may be required to participate in publicity related to the Prize Draw which may include the publication of their name and photograph in any media.
  18. Any personal data (including contact details) supplied by you during the course of this promotion may be passed on to third party suppliers for the purpose of the fulfilment/delivery/arrangement of the prize. By entering the Prize Draw, you consent to your personal data being processed in this manner.
  19. By submitting Feedback to the Promoter and entering into the Prize Draw you: (a) consent to your Feedback being passed by the Promoter to the suppliers of the product samples in an anonymised format for the purpose of carrying out market research; and (b) agree to the terms of our Privacy Policy and Dig-In website Terms & Conditions.
  20. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
  21. The Prize Draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the Prize Draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
  22. By activating your Dig-In Card and becoming a Dig-In member, you agree to sign-up to Dig-In's e-mailing list which you can unsubscribe from anytime.

For the purpose of the Data Protection Act 1998 (the Act), the data controller is Hadham Enterprises Limited of 144 High Street, Epping, Essex CM16 4AS.

  • to compile reports for our partners or product sample providers on our market research findings or the feedback you provide in relation to their samples.  Please note that We will anonymise this information and we will not disclose identifiable information to the product sample providers in these reports.  We may, however, provide them with aggregate information about our users based on the feedback We receive on the product samples or in reply to our surveys.  By way of example, we may inform them of the feedback received from users between a certain age range or of a particular genders;
  • to provide you, or permit selected third parties to provide you, with information about goods or services we feel may interest you;
  • to ensure that content from our site is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your computer. 
  • If you do not want us to use your data in this way, please do not take part in any survey on our website.

  • Partner brands and affiliates and their advertisers and advertising networks that require the data for market research purposes and to select and serve relevant products and adverts to you and others.  We do not disclose information about identifiable individuals to our partner brands, product sample providers or their advertisers, but we may provide them with aggregate information about our users in an anonymised format. We may also use such aggregate information to help partner brands, product sample providers and their advertisers reach the kind of audience they want to target. 
  • Analytics and search engine providers that assist us in the improvement and optimisation of our site.

We may disclose your personal information to third parties:

  • In the event that we sell or buy any business or assets, in which case we may disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets.
  • If Hadham Enterprises Limited or substantially all of its assets are acquired by a third party, in which case personal data held by it about its customers will be one of the transferred assets.
  • If we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply our prize draw terms and conditions {insert link} and other agreements; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Hadham Enterprises Limited, our customers, or others. Where we store your personal data

The data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area ("EEA"). It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of our suppliers. Such staff maybe engaged in, among other things the administration of any sales promotion or prize draw offered by Us and the provision of support services. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.

Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone.

The Act gives you the right to access information held about you. Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with the Act. Any access request may be subject to a fee of £10 to meet our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you.
